We are pleased to inform details of "Drinking water project" which was started from "Challenge of CEO Hajime Mori".

There is "Water business" as environment-related business that grows up to answer the theme of United Nations Millennium Development Goal (MDGs).

Integrate the principles of sustainable development into country policies and programs; reverse loss of environmental resources.
Reduce biodiversity loss, achieving, by 2010, a significant reduction in the rate of loss.
Halve, by 2015, the proportion of the population without sustainable access to safe drinking water and basic sanitation.
By 2020, to have achieved a significant improvement in the lives of at least 100 million slum-dwellers.

Advance to Southeast Asia with alliance among small and medium enterprises.
Challenge to Water Business in Asia together with JICA etc.

This is a big business chance, and we would like to start up "Water for life" support type business project leads to international contribution.

Japanese "water major" companies focus on maintenance and management of water supply and sewerage systems.
However, requiring technology in Asia is easy maintenance with low technology and high operability.
This is a sustainable packaged proposal standing on each Southeast Asian country's views and make local people possible to maintain by themselves.
In National Environmental Business Enterprise Association, they have confidence that we can find out a business chance to prevail some kind of simple water treatment processors or jokaso (private sewerage system) by alliance of small and medium-sized enterprise and targeting to small-scale business in suburban cities or farm villages.
