Geothermal power generation from hot spring

Geothermal energy is domestic energy which is richly exists in our volcanic country, and safe and clean energy with almost no discharging of CO₂ and not be influenced by climate or weather.

Now we are focusing on Kalina cycle power generation which uses hot spring less than 100 degrees. Conventional flash power system requires geothermal resource with high temperature more than 220 degrees, and need 10-odd-years to construct power plant.

Kalina cycle power generation system is possible to generate electricity by utilizing relatively higher temperature hot spring which upwelling all over the country at present, besides that, hot springs which needs natural heat release or adding of water in order for using for bath are able to utilize without any change after generating of electricity, because the temperature of hot spring water which was utilized for power generation would be proper temperature for bath.

Necessary electricity for pumping or allocation of hot spring water can be covered by power generation-made electricity, and if it does not need the electricity, selling it is another option.

We are in stage that subsidy program for promotion or easing of regulations of related laws are needed, now we have been proceeding to collect related information or figure out each region's needs.
In addition, as we have many relationships in water treatment business and bring making collaboration with those various companies into view, and have been structuring system which can lead to comprehensive reduction for environmental burden or cutting down the cost.

Meanwhile, the geothermal power generation is taken up in "Proposal concerning the introduction promotion of new energy" in which is proposed by "New Energy Foundation".

A demonstration test of binary power generation in Matsunoyama hot-spring

We supplied our pure water system currently used by demonstration test of "Matsunoyama hot-spring binary power generation" (Kalina cycle power generation) being done in Tokamachi-city, Niigata.
The pure water system for diluting the ammonia used by Kalina cycle power generation is the equipment designed based on the original know-how of our company.
